Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is set in a prime location by the seafront, offering lovely views and close proximity to the pier. The rooms, though some areas were cold due to radiators off, were spacious and clean, and the veranda lounge bar provided a cozy spot for guests to mingle. The service was efficient and welcoming, with staff going the extra mile to make our stay stress-free. While the age of the hotel slightly impacted the overall experience, the excellent staff make it a worthwhile stay for those who appreciate the charm of old seaside hotels.
The hotel's location is perfect, right across the road from the beach, and it offers convenient access. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-presented. The service was exceptional, especially the bar staff like Theresa who were very accommodating. However, the changing rooms are basic, and the outside area could be better maintained. Dining options were good but not outstanding. Overall, great value for money with some room for improvement in certain areas.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean with handrails in the bathroom, offering a superb sea view; however, the hotel is beginning to look quite worn. The service, though acted strangely at times, was still welcoming and helpful. The location, although brilliant being right next to the beach, had some disappointments like paying extra for an upgraded room. Dining, with excellent cooked-to-order meals, was up to standard, but had limited options at times.
